FREE COVID-19 testing at Kamaile Academy
The Pacific Alliance Against COVID-19 (PAAC) is an NIH study that aims to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in communities. In partnership with Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, the Department of Education, and Department of Health, PAAC will provide FREE rapid antigen testing for COVID-19 (approved under the FDA Emergency Use Authorization) to students and staff as a way to keep everyone safe at school.

What Does This Mean?Testing has already begun for faculty and staff. For students, testing will be done before sports, during select classes, or as frequent as necessary depending on need. The test result will be ready in 15 minutes and will be sent via email or text to the parent and the student (with parent approval). By completing the survey and getting tested, students will receive a $10 gift card for their participation.
PAAC Staff and Kamaile Academy administration will also be hosting a virtual Town Hall for families to ask questions about the test and their student's participation in the program.
