News and Announcements
January 2nd Community Letter
At this time, Kamaile is aligning with the DOE and planning for face-to-face instruction to begin on Tuesday, January 4th.
Aloha Kamaile Parents and Guardians,
Hauʻoli Makahiki Hou! I am hopeful that this letter will find everyone in good spirits and good
health.
I recognize that we are, again, at another juncture with this evolving pandemic. Our
administrative team spent much of the winter break preparing for the start of the second semester
and I am confident that we are prepared and ready to receive students and staff next week.
At this time, Kamaile is aligning with the DOE and planning for face-to-face instruction to
begin on Tuesday, January 4th. It is possible that Kamaile will need to pivot some or all
learners to temporary virtual instruction, so I ask that parents develop plans for at-home
supervision of their children just in case.
I also ask that all parents and students review our Kamaile Spring Semester Covid Response Plan
at Kamaile-Academy.org. As we move forward, it will be of the highest priority to keep our
school open so we all must do our part to ensure the well-being of ourselves and one another.
Mahalo for your continued support.
